As an Assistant Shift Leader in Cleaning Services at Sodexo, you will have a varied and responsible role with both operational and leadership tasks. You will become a key enabler in daily operations and a central part of the management team.
About the role
In the role of Assistant Shift Leader, you lead employees who are experts in cleaning services and contribute to ensuring a safe working environment, high quality, and efficiency in delivery. With a present and engaged leadership style, you create well-being, structure, and good service – for both employees and customers.
You work closely with the responsible manager and act as their "right-hand" in daily operations.

At our customer AstraZeneca in Södertälje, Sodexo delivers a wide range of service solutions, including food & beverage, logistics, office services, and cleaning services. Your main responsibilities
- Be responsible for your operational area within cleaning services
- Support the nearest manager in planning and monitoring operations
- Personnel responsibility for approximately 30 employees
- Develop operations together with group leaders and the responsible manager
- Ensure agreed quality and good customer relationships
Note: The role does not have budget responsibility.

We would like you to have:
- Many years of broad experience from the service industry, preferably with competence in cleaning services
- Previous leadership experience
- A clear customer and business focus
- Good administrative skills and experience working in various systems
- Motivation, responsibility, and goal orientation
- A desire and ability to develop both employees and operations
It is an advantage if you have:
- Education in SRY (Service and Restaurant Trade)
- Certification according to Insta 800

About the position
- Employment type: Permanent
- Scope: Full-time. Working hours mainly during the day, but evenings and weekends may occur
- Salary: According to agreement
- Start: Immediately or according to agreement
