Greenhouse Operator at ECA Operator Frövi AB

You will work in a temperature-controlled greenhouse where you can follow the entire process – from small seedlings to ready-to-eat tomatoes. Here, you will become an important part of creating sustainable food production from the ground up.

About the role

As a greenhouse operator, you work practically in the greenhouse or in the packing hall, contributing to the optimal development of our plants and ensuring high-quality harvests. The work is varied and follows the different phases of cultivation.

Responsibilities

• Planting, pruning, thinning, and trimming
• Harvesting and packaging of tomatoes
• Forklift operation (as needed)
• Cleaning and maintenance of the greenhouse
• Other tasks common in greenhouse production
• Working in an environment where bumblebees fly freely (pollination)

Basic Requirements

• Valid work permit for working in Sweden
• Functional color vision
• Good physical fitness (ability to walk and stand throughout the workday)
• No record in the criminal register
• Ability to work meticulously and deliver high quality

Merits

• Knowledge of Swedish
• Forklift license

Terms of Employment

• Location: Tjärdalsvägen 6, Frövi
• Working hours: 07:00–16:00 (06:00 - 15:00 during summer)
• Employment type: Probationary employment with possibility of continued employment, or fixed-term employment
• Collective agreement: Horticulture workers

• Start: Ongoing from late July to early October
