We are now looking for engaged environmental workers with a Category C driver's license and YKB certification who want to work summer jobs at Verdis in Upplands Väsby and Uppsala.

About the job
Verdis collects source-separated waste around Stockholm and Uppsala, and we are now looking for several positive and goal-oriented environmental workers with a Category C driver's license and YKB certification, who can work full-time during the summer (May–September).

As an environmental worker, you play a key role at Verdis. You are our face to the public and become one of our everyday heroes helping to keep Stockholm and Uppsala clean. Together with your colleagues, you ensure that the cleaning tasks are performed in accordance with the company's procedures and our client's requirements. You report to the local management.

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

• Collection and transport of source-separated waste using rear loaders
• Handling of vehicle computers and RFID equipment
• Reporting deviations
• Daily maintenance/inspection of vehicles and superstructures, as well as washing them when necessary
• Submitting vehicles to the workshop when needed

Who are you?

We are looking for you who:

• Have a Category C driver's license with the accompanying YKB certification
• Are proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written

It is an advantage if you have:

• Previous experience from similar work and/or have handled "two-bin systems" previously
• Knowledge of digital deviation management

This position suits you if you have good physical fitness and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment. You enjoy working outdoors and have no problem working in all weather conditions. As a person, you are service-oriented, have good teamwork skills, and have a solution-oriented approach. We also believe that you are responsible and take pride in performing your work in a commendable manner.

Scope and employment type: Fixed-term full-time employment (May to September)
Working hours: We operate Monday to Friday, daytime hours 06:00–15:00.
