Our operating department offers anesthesia and surgical services to various surgical specialties. Here, we provide high-tech advanced surgical care and emergency management of trauma patients. ANOPIVA is Region Östergötland's largest clinic and provides surgical care in all operating specialties, excluding thoracic/vascular surgery. Our units perform both elective and emergency surgery around the clock.

Neurosurgery in Linköping is one of seven neurosurgical units in Sweden. We offer highly specialized operations to patients of all ages with injuries and diseases of the central nervous system. ENT performs surgery in the areas of ear, nose, and throat diseases with varying procedures, ranging from tracheostomies to advanced tumor surgery. We perform a lot of elective surgery, but a large part also consists of emergency surgery.

The operating department is equipped with navigation systems, microscopes, and ultrasound equipment. We also have an intraoperative magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) suite, where we perform various operations and treatments inside the MRI scanner.

Job Description

As an Operating Room Nurse, you will work primarily on the Neuro/ENT section, but with some introduction to other sections to participate in on-call duties. This means your specialist competence will develop on your home section, but you will also have knowledge of life-saving emergency surgeries on other sections.

About You

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse with specialist education in operating room care and have a special interest in neurosurgery and ENT surgery, while also wanting to maintain broad emergency competence.

You must have good Swedish language skills in both speech and writing, as you will communicate with patients, relatives, and colleagues. Great importance is attached to personal suitability and maturity.

The work is characterized by excitement and variation, where your flexibility and problem-solving skills will be put to use. You are a curious person who wants to contribute to the development of the operations.

It is important that you thrive in teamwork and work well with other people in a responsive and smooth manner. Furthermore, you are an engaged person who wants to contribute to a positive and good work environment.
