About the Role

As a Production Technician specializing in time studies, you will play a central role close to daily production. You will contribute to developing and optimizing production flows by analyzing production times, capacity, and resource utilization. Your work involves collecting, processing, and analyzing data to create a clear picture of the current state and identify opportunities for improvement in the business. The role provides valuable practical insight into industrial production and how data-driven insights are used to make informed decisions.

The objective is to produce a fact-based foundation regarding production times and capacity, which can serve as a basis for planning, optimization, and future development of production processes. Through your work, you create the prerequisites for a more efficient production flow and long-term improvement efforts.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct time studies in production

  • Document cycle times, setup times, machine times, and waiting times

  • Compile and analyze collected data

  • Perform capacity calculations for stations, lines, or flows

  • Identify relationships between utilization, flow, and capacity

  • Present results and conclusions clearly

Qualifications
  • Post-secondary education in production technology, industrial economics, mechanical engineering, or similar

  • Good knowledge of AVIX

  • Interest in data and strong analytical skills

  • Basic understanding of production and flows

  • Experience working structuredly in Excel or similar tools

  • Good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Other Information

Location: Västerås, working hours during weekdays, daytime

Employment: Full-time, 100% on-site

Start: Immediately or as agreed

Employment Type: Consulting assignment until 31/12-26 with the intention of extension, followed by direct employment with our client
