We are now looking for an experienced Project Manager within Information Security for a comprehensive consulting assignment with one of our clients. The assignment involves leading and driving the implementation of ISO/IEC 27001 in an international and technology-intensive operation. The Role of Project Manager

In the role of Project Manager, you are responsible for leading the client's work to establish and implement an Information Security Management System (ISMS) according to ISO/IEC 27001. You drive the assignment from early analysis to certification readiness and act as the connecting link between operations, IT, management, and other key functions.

The assignment is a full-time consulting role with one of our clients, where you operate as an independent and driving project manager in a complex, international environment.

Example of Tasks

• Establish and lead the project plan, structure, milestones, and deliverables for ISO/IEC 27001
• Conduct gap analysis against ISO/IEC 27001 requirements and Annex A controls
• Coordinate and support risk assessments and the development of risk management and action plans
• Drive the development and implementation of ISMS policies, processes, and procedures
• Coordinate and collaborate with stakeholders within IT, R&D, HR, legal, and management
• Ensure interaction with ongoing IT, security, and regulatory compliance initiatives
• Prepare the organization for internal audits, management review, and external certification audits
• Report status, risks, and decision-making materials to the steering group and decision-makers

Your Background, Experience, and Competence

We are looking for you who have:

• Documented experience in leading ISO/IEC 27001 implementations, from analysis to certification readiness
• Good understanding of information security, ISMS, and ISO/IEC 27001 including Annex A
• Experience with risk analysis, risk treatment, and implementation of security controls
• Strong project management skills with experience in handling complex dependencies and many stakeholders
• Experience from larger organizations, preferably in technology, R&D, or regulated environments
• Ability to drive structure, documentation, and governance in a pragmatic way
• Very good knowledge of English, both spoken and written

Desirable are certifications such as ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer, PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent, as well as knowledge of adjacent regulations such as GDPR, NIS2, or ISO 22301.
