Are you interested in working with emergency and planned orthopedic surgery in a highly specialized and development-driven environment? Then you should apply to the orthopedic section of Anesthesia, Operating Room and Intensive Care (ANOPIVA) at one of the country's best hospitals, Linköping University Hospital.
Our operating department offers anesthesia and operating services to various surgical specialties. Here, high-tech advanced surgical care and emergency treatment of trauma patients are provided. ANOPIVA is Region Östergötland's largest clinic and provides surgical care in all surgical specialties except thoracic/cardiovascular surgery. Our units perform both elective and emergency surgery, with operations running 24/7.
At our facility, you will work in a dynamic operating environment where emergency and planned orthopedic surgery are performed. The focus is on trauma orthopedics, but plastic surgery and hand surgery are also performed on the same section. Linköping University Hospital is a national center for highly specialized burn care, which means that as an operating room nurse, you will also participate in burn surgeries.
We work with complex fractures, advanced osteosynthesis, flap surgery, and microsurgery, sometimes collaborating in multiple teams, creating a stimulating work environment where collaboration, structure, and communication are central. The work is varied with shorter and less complex procedures, providing variety in the daily tasks.
Here, you will have the opportunity to contribute to development and improvement work and drive quality issues forward. There is also the possibility to join research teams and participate in clinical studies, giving you the chance to contribute to the future of perioperative care.
Do you have a strong interest in orthopedics and want to work with trauma, advanced fracture surgery, and burn care? Then we are the right workplace for you!
