EKEN is looking for a curious and solution-oriented Integration Developer who wants to play a central role in how data moves between systems, services, and external partners.

About EKEN

EKEN operates at the intersection of forestry, climate, tech, and finance. We are developing a business model where forests are converted into new, long-term revenue streams through certified carbon credits in a growing European market.

By measuring, certifying, and selling the forest's carbon storage, we create new revenue streams for forest owners, while companies gain access to high-quality carbon credits to meet their climate goals. Using data, analytics, and self-developed technical solutions, we are building a scalable business model for recurring revenue over time.

About the role

As an Integration Developer at EKEN, you will work on connecting internal systems, external services, and our data platform. The role focuses on designing, building, and further developing robust integrations that enable scalable and reliable data and system flows.

You will work with API integrations, event-driven architecture, and data flows between models, services, and external partners. A key part of the role is ensuring that integrations are traceable, stable, and handle asynchronous data correctly. The work also includes responsibility for creating control and clarity in the integration layer.

We believe you have

• At least three years of relevant post-secondary education
• Work experience in backend development, integrations, or system connections
• Experience with Python, Node.js, or similar backend technologies
• Proficiency in working with APIs and data flows between different systems
• Understanding of how integrations are built, debugged, and kept stable over time
• Interest in event-driven architecture, cloud environments, or system monitoring
• Good skills in Swedish and English, both verbal and written
