About the Role

We are looking for a Vehicle Technician for a client in Enköping for a permanent, full-time position. In this role, you will be responsible for the service, maintenance, and repair of light and heavy vehicles in the workshop. Your duties include diagnostics, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and functional testing, with a focus on quality, safety, and efficient workflow. You will work in a team and collaborate closely with supervisors, parts/warehouse staff, and technicians to ensure high availability of the vehicle fleet.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with vehicle technical education or equivalent practical experience as a technician or mechanic. You should be proficient in using diagnostic tools and have experience with engine, transmission, and braking systems. Knowledge of electrical systems, hydraulics, AdBlue/exhaust aftertreatment, and specific vehicle types in this field is advantageous. You are structured, problem-solving oriented, and have a clear focus on safety. To succeed in this role, you are self-motivated but also accustomed to working in a team. Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, is required.

Your Responsibilities

• Perform service, troubleshooting, and repairs on passenger cars and heavy vehicles according to established procedures.
• Conduct technical inspections, diagnostics, and functional tests using modern diagnostic tools.
• Replace and adjust components such as engines, gearboxes, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance according to service plans and document completed work in the system.
• Participate in troubleshooting and improvement work to increase the reliability of the vehicle fleet.
• Ensure a safe working environment by following procedures, reporting deviations, and maintaining tools and equipment.
• Report faults and collaborate with the parts and procurement team as needed to ensure fast deliveries.

We are looking for someone who

• Has relevant vehicle education or equivalent practical experience.
• Has good knowledge of diagnostics, electrical systems, and mechanical systems.
• Is meticulous, problem-solving oriented, and has a clear focus on safety.
• Can work independently and in a team, handling varying priorities.
• Is proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Has a valid Category B driver's license (mandatory).
