Responsibilities

The role of System Developer in projects and operations may include the following main tasks:

• Contribute to interpreting architecture, security, and designing systems
• Carry out system development, primarily frontend but also backend
• Support the team in developing collaboration both within the team and externally. Improve how one works within the Scrum framework and agile principles.
• Configuration of CI/CD environments
• Create, update, and maintain system documentation
• Occasional maintenance such as handling incidents, which may include debugging and bug fixing, as well as assisting in other IT operations of our applications and other operational-related work.

Requirements

1. University/college education of at least 180 credits in Systems Science, IT, Software Development, or Electronics. Alternatively, at least 10 years of work experience that Svenska Kraftnät assesses as equivalent in a relevant area.
2. Experience in an agile team of having been responsible for facilitating agile processes, coaching the team (at least 3 people), and supporting the team in following the Scrum framework.
3. At least 10 years of experience, within the last 15 years, in Front End development.
4. At least 5 years of development in cloud solutions: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
5. Experience with at least 1 back-end language.
6. At least 5 years of experience in frontend development using React & TypeScript, CI/CD, and automated tests in pipelines.
7. At least 3 years of experience in advanced visualization of diagrams and graphs using libraries such as HighCharts or D3.js or similar.
8. Good written and oral communication skills in Swedish and English.

Merits

• Participated in at least one project, ongoing for at least 12 months, within power systems (e.g., power grid, energy distribution) during the period 2016–2026.
• Has worked with Highcharts and Zod for at least 1 year.
• Experience of having used Docker and OpenShift in at least 1 project.
