Do you want to lead service in a restaurant where a historic setting, gastronomy, and hospitality are at the center? Do you have an eye for detail, natural leadership skills – and an interest in food and wine? Then you might be the Maitre d' we are looking for.

About the role

As a Maitre d' with us, you are a key person in the restaurant and an integral part of the guest experience. You lead the service, create security within the team, and ensure that every guest feels personally welcome. If you are a sommelier or have a strong interest in wine, there is an opportunity to work with and develop our extensive wine cellar and beverage selection, as well as host wine and beverage tastings for our guests – but this is not a requirement for the position.

Your main responsibilities

• Lead and distribute work in the restaurant during service
• Ensure high quality, structure, and personal hospitality
• Responsible for table placement, flow, and the overall experience
• Coach and inspire service and bar staff
• Handle guest requests, bookings, and on-site arrangements

We are looking for someone who

• Has experience as a Maitre d' or in a leading role within the restaurant industry
• Has a genuine interest in service, people, and quality
• Is confident in your leadership and thrives in an operational role
• Is structured, solution-oriented, and stress-resistant
• Speaks Swedish and English fluently
• Sommelier training or documented interest in wine is meritorious, but not a requirement
