About the role As a veterinarian with us, you work broadly within the practice – with a focus on outpatient clinic, ward/ICU, and acute flows. You encounter everything from planned cases to more advanced internal medical and acute surgical patients. You work closely with experienced colleagues in several specialist areas, in an environment where collaboration and knowledge exchange are a natural part of everyday life.
The work also involves:
- Close contact with pet owners, where clear and secure communication is central.
- Evening work, on-call duties, and weekend shifts as a natural part of the practice.
- The opportunity to take responsibility in acute situations – sometimes as the sole veterinarian in the house, where surgery may occur (night on-call).
We are particularly looking for someone who thrives in the care flow, appreciates internal medical investigations, and wants to contribute to continuity and quality in patient care.
Who we are looking for We are looking for you who are a licensed veterinarian with a few years of experience and feel confident in your role. You have an interest in internal medicine, care, and emergency medicine, and enjoy taking responsibility in clinical everyday life. You work systematically, maintain calm even when the pace is high, and are confident in dialogue with pet owners. At the same time, you are curious and want to continue developing together with your colleagues.
The role includes evening on-call duties where acute surgeries may occur. You may also work in surgery when needed, both to support the practice and to maintain and develop your surgical skills.
We see that you have:
- Licensure as a veterinarian.
- A few years of clinical experience.
- Interest in internal medicine, care, and emergency medicine.
- Good communication skills in contact with pet owners.
- A desire to continue developing and contribute to the team.
- Swedish in speech and writing is a requirement.
