About the role

We are looking for a Vehicle Tester for a client in Enköping for a permanent full-time position. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting tests and test drives on light and heavy vehicles, as well as documenting test results. Your duties include preparing test objects, performing functional and performance tests, driving tests, measurements, and analyzing deviations. You will collaborate closely with technicians, supervisors, and spare parts/warehouse personnel to ensure correct troubleshooting and high availability of the vehicle fleet.

Your profile

We are looking for you who have vehicle technical education or equivalent practical experience working with vehicles and testing. Experience with diagnostic tools, measuring equipment, and test drives is advantageous. You have a good understanding of engine, transmission, and braking systems, as well as basic knowledge of electrical systems and exhaust gas treatment. You are meticulous, analytical, and have a clear safety mindset. To thrive in this role, you must be able to work both independently and in a team. Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, is required.

Your responsibilities

• Plan and prepare vehicles for tests and test drives according to instructions and checklists

• Perform functional, performance, and safety tests, and document measured values and observations

• Conduct diagnostics and fault identification in collaboration with technicians and the workshop

• Perform driving tests and load tests under controlled conditions to verify measures

• Analyze test results, report deviations, and suggest actions for improved reliability

• Maintain and calibrate measuring instruments, and ensure correct documentation in systems

• Follow safety routines and contribute to an orderly and safe working environment

We are looking for someone who

• Has vehicle technical education or equivalent practical experience

• Has experience with diagnostics, test drives, and the use of measuring equipment

• Is meticulous, analytical, and solution-oriented

• Can work independently and in a team, and handle varied tasks

• Is proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written

• Has a valid Category B driver's license (required)
