The company is the general agent for Rolls-Royce Power Systems and works exclusively with world-leading engine technology. We deliver high-quality drive and power systems and offer service and support to customers in the marine and industrial sectors. To strengthen our service offering, we are now looking for a traveling service technician who wants to work with advanced technology and contribute to reliable solutions.

About the Role

As a traveling service technician, you will become part of our technical team and be responsible for installation, troubleshooting, and service of our engine and power systems at customer sites. The role involves travel within the Nordic countries and on-site work at customer locations, both in workshops and in the field. You will work both independently and as part of a team, playing a key role in ensuring high availability and operational reliability for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned service and maintenance on engine and power units
• Troubleshoot and rectify operational faults, both electrical and mechanical
• Install and commission new systems according to customer and delivery specifications
• Perform system tests, measurements, and document completed work in customer systems
• Communicate regularly with customers, project management, and the support department as needed
• Participate in training and handover to customers, providing technical advice
• Travel on assignments and work on-site at customer locations in the Nordic region and, if necessary, internationally

Requirements

• Relevant technical education, such as mechanics, electrical/electronics, or equivalent
• Experience in field service or service work with heavy machinery or engines
• Good understanding of electricity, control and regulation technology, and diagnostic tools
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Class B driver's license
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently under varying conditions

Qualifications

• Experience working with diesel engines or power units
• Knowledge of Rolls-Royce Power Systems products or similar platforms
• Relevant certificates such as hot work permits, safety training, or lifting competence
• Experience working in international projects and traveling for work
• Knowledge of digital service documentation systems and customer portals

Employment Type and Start Date

The position is a permanent employment with location as agreed. Start date is by agreement, and selection is conducted on an ongoing basis.
