We are now looking for a registered nurse for our facility, Attendo Muréngatan, in Gävle. Muréngatan is a modern care and housing facility in central Gävle with 102 apartments. The facility specializes in dementia and somatic care and works based on Silviahemmets care philosophy.
About the role
As a nurse with us, you will have a varied job where you work long-term with health plans to improve the quality of life for residents, but you are also the one making assessments and decisions on actions in acute situations. Your responsibilities also include providing good palliative care. The transition to "Nära vård" (Close Care) means that more specialized healthcare interventions will take place at the facility. This gives you a diversity of stimulating and developmental tasks. You have a leadership role with great opportunities to influence the operations.
As a nurse within Attendo, you are significant and your competence is highly valued. The work is independent, while you have access to many competent colleagues in our nursing networks. You are part of the team working to strengthen the individual.
Main responsibilities
- Medication management
- Working in national quality registers
- Mentoring care staff and nursing students
- Care responsibility for patients
Who are you?
As a person, you are responsible, independent, and humble with the ability to prioritize. You enjoy mentoring and delegating care tasks to care assistants in health and medical matters and are motivated by creating high-quality care together with your colleagues for those living with us.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN)
- At least three years of professional experience, preferably within elderly care
- Very good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written
- Valid driver's license (Category B)
Meritorious qualifications
- Experience working in private care services
- Experience in mentoring
- Education in geriatrics or district nursing
