World Animal Protection is a global animal welfare organization with roots dating back to the 1950s. Our work to stop animal suffering, both in Sweden and internationally, focuses particularly on two areas: helping animals in the food industry and ensuring that wild animals can live freely in their natural habitats. We work both practically to help animals and through advocacy. Our work relies on the support of generous animal friends.

About the role

We are now looking for you who want to take a key role in our financing by driving and developing our fundraising work. Your focus will be on acquiring new private donors, and you will work closely with our fundraisers for existing donors as well as corporate donors. You will become part of a professional, ambitious, and collaborative team with expertise in animal welfare, advocacy, fundraising, communication, CRM, and social media. As a global organization, we work closely with fundraising colleagues around the world, learning and developing together.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the strategy, planning, and execution of campaigns to recruit new monthly donors.
• Responsible for follow-up and efficient, accurate reporting. Work together with the fundraising team to create the annual budget for fundraising activities.
• Monitor the development of new fundraising and marketing methods and drive the further development of fundraising work across various donor channels.

We are looking for you who

You have experience in and can demonstrate results from developing and leading work on recruiting new monthly donors. To succeed in this role, we believe you are curious, results-oriented, structured, and collaborative. You see potential for development, dare to try new things, and have ideas for improving processes and routines. In addition, you have a burning interest in changing the situation for animals worldwide and are driven to create concrete results.

Additionally, you have:

• Experience working strategically and operationally with fundraising in leading positions for several years, and wish to work in a global context.
• Experience recruiting new donors via DRTV, online, and face-to-face.
• Extensive experience working with digital fundraising methods, tracking key performance indicators, and managing cost and revenue budgets.
• Experience in project management.
• A strong interest in what is happening in the fundraising industry and follow the latest insights in fundraising and campaign work.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Other information

• The position is a full-time permanent employment with a 6-month probation period.
• The role is based at our office in central Stockholm with the possibility of working from home to some extent.
