ABOUT THE POSITION

We at Kura Omsorg are looking for someone who wants to work as an hourly substitute personal assistant for our client in central Linköping. Start date is by agreement, and we prefer that you can begin the introduction immediately.

Working hours are scheduled as follows:

• 07:00-08:30 Weekdays

• 16:00/17:30 - 21:00 Weekdays

• 09:00 - 14:00 Weekends

• 16:00 - 21:00 Weekends

ABOUT THE CLIENT

Our client is a cheerful woman in her 40s with an intellectual disability. She uses a wheelchair and needs support with daily activities to make her day run as smoothly as possible. She enjoys being active and has a strong interest in walks, visiting the stable, swimming, and taking care of her appearance – such as styling her hair and applying makeup.

ARE YOU THE ONE WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with people and can analyze the needs of others. Furthermore, you should be calm, reliable, enjoy coming up with activities, and have a sense of humor. Personal suitability is of great importance. Note that the client is looking for a female assistant!

REQUIREMENTS

• Fluent Swedish, both spoken and written

• Non-smoker

• No fur allergies

• Swimming skills and tolerance for chlorinated water

ASSETS

• Interest in makeup and hair styling

• Living in central Linköping

Employment Type: Hourly substitute

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with collective agreements.

To be employed by us at Kura Omsorg, you need a BankID and must agree to use it in the service. A prerequisite for starting employment with us is that you can present a valid ID document and submit a personal certificate (personbevis) as well as any documents proving the right to work in Sweden. Due to the fact that the job may involve working alone, night shifts, and tasks that according to the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations (AFS 2012:3) cannot be performed by minors, you must be at least 18 years old to work as a personal assistant.

If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you must present an extract from the criminal register. From March 1, 2026, new regulations apply, meaning the register check will cover both the criminal register and the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Please note that processing times may vary, so the order should be made well in advance.
