Are you someone who enjoys physical work and wants to work in a modern warehouse environment? On behalf of our client, we are now seeking driven warehouse staff for a consultancy assignment. Our client is one of Sweden's leading wholesalers in home furnishing and textiles, and here you get the chance to become part of a tight-knit team at their logistics center in Uddevalla.

As a consultant with Randstad, assigned to our client, you will become an important link in their efficient logistics chain. The role involves working at the heart of the operation where precision and efficiency are key words.

You will work in spacious premises where products of varying sizes and materials pass by daily.

The work is scheduled for daytime (Monday–Friday) and we are looking for someone who wants a stable employment with good opportunities for extension or future direct employment with the client company.

Responsibilities

• Order Picking: Efficiently and accurately pick goods and textiles based on digital picking lists.
• Goods Handling: Responsible for inbound and outbound deliveries, including unloading containers and loading outgoing goods.
• Forklift Driving: Safe maneuvering of forklifts (primarily counterbalance forklifts and reach trucks) to move bulky goods in high-bay warehouses.
• Quality Control: Ensure the right goods are sent to the right customer and report any discrepancies in the warehouse system.
• Warehouse Optimization: Contribute to a safe and organized work environment by following established routines and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid Forklift License: Requirement for license A (1-4) and B (1-4).
• Physical Strength: You have no problems with heavy lifting or being on your feet all day, as the assortment requires good physical fitness and endurance.
• Experience: Previous experience in warehouse work, preferably from operations handling larger or heavier goods.
• Good knowledge of Swedish (spoken/written) and experience working with digital tools such as handheld scanners.
• Personal Attributes: We are looking for someone who is punctual, responsible, and a true team player. You see what needs to be done and enjoy working towards set goals.
