As the Bakery Manager, you will help take our bakery to the next level. You will have a leading role and be one of the store's faces to the outside world, professionally meeting our customers' need for the best service. Our in-store bakery is very popular and, together with our other fresh products, forms the heart of the store. We bake both bread (yeast mixes, dough mixes, and bake-off), confectionery, cakes, and pastries. As a baker/confectioner, you have a great responsibility to create a lively store together with your colleagues that constantly exceeds our customers' expectations. Every customer should feel unique through your service sense and creativity. We have high ceilings and constantly strive to develop and improve, both regarding our processes and our assortment. Therefore, we are looking for a manager with a high energy level to elevate an already good and well-functioning department.

As the person responsible for the bakery, you must ensure that our customers are offered a fresh and inviting department every day of the week. You will primarily be responsible for our in-store bakery where we handle Bake Off/dough mixes, but you are also responsible for the packaged bread. Your tasks include everything from bread production to baking cakes and making confectionery items. It is important that you have a sense for trends and novelties to maximize sales in combination with our customers' unique wishes. We require education or equivalent experience in the profession, and previous experience working with fresh products in a store is highly meritorious.

In your role as Bakery Manager, in addition to regular duties, you will:

• Plan and be responsible for purchasing
• Work actively with physical waste and spoilage
• Follow up sales against budget
• Manage the staff on the department

You will possess specialist competence in the field and ensure that development and operations on the departments take place in an efficient and professional manner.

• Previous experience from retail or grocery trade is highly meritorious
• Bakery education or equivalent experience in the profession is a requirement
• Completed upper secondary education is a requirement
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, spoken and written, is a requirement
• 18 years of age is a requirement as work is performed with age-regulated equipment
