The company is growing and developing, and we are now looking for a Workshop Technician for a new role in the business. The role is created to strengthen technical service and ensure that our vehicles, tools, and systems always function as intended. You will work in our workshop in Tumba together with a small team where collaboration and technical expertise are central. Your immediate supervisor will be the Workshop Manager, and you will also work closely with some of the country's most experienced builders of special vehicles.

As a Workshop Technician, you will among other things:

• Perform service, repair, and troubleshooting on trucks, lifting systems, and custom-built vehicles.

• Work with installation, maintenance, and adjustment of robots, washing equipment, compressors, and other mechanical equipment.

• Participate in renovation and improvement work on trash bins, fall protection, and customer-tailored solutions.

• Plan and perform both preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment and vehicles.

• Document completed work and report working hours and actions in the company's systems.

Responsibilities

You are responsible for ensuring that Kinab's vehicles, workshop equipment, and technical systems are kept in good condition and function in daily operations. The work involves both planned maintenance and troubleshooting when something does not work as it should.

The role also includes planning work, sourcing materials and spare parts, and following up on service work to ensure it is documented correctly. You will have close collaboration with production, administration, and colleagues in the workshop. Together, you will work to minimize downtime, increase equipment availability, and ensure high quality in all work performed.

You will also contribute to the development of the workshop's working methods, routines, and processes with a focus on safety, efficiency, and quality.

Desired Profile:

• Experience from a vehicle workshop, preferably working with trucks or heavy machinery.

• Knowledge in mechanics, hydraulics, and electricity.

• Experience in troubleshooting and repairing vehicles or machines.

• Class C driver's license.

• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

• Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.

Are solution-oriented and analytical; as you often need to troubleshoot technical problems and find sustainable solutions.

Are flexible and responsible; as the work sometimes requires quick action when equipment or vehicles need to be addressed.

Merits if you:

• Have experience with robotics or automated equipment.

• Have knowledge in advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics.

• Have experience with crane work or a crane license over 18 ton-meters.

• Have experience working with waste systems or similar technical solutions.

Start: Immediate or by agreement.

Working hours: Daytime, weekdays.

Location: The workshop in Tullinge.

Employment type: Full-time, permanent with probation period.
