We are looking for a skilled individual to work as a property maintenance technician for our client Nyköpingshem. This is a summer temporary position for the period May 1st – August 31st. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys practical work, is service-oriented, and solution-focused.

About the assignment

The work is varied and includes both installations and repairs in apartments and common areas. Typical tasks may include mounting kitchen cabinets, replacing bathroom mixers, basic carpentry and plumbing work, as well as minor electrical work within applicable qualifications. You will work independently and in a team, maintaining direct contact with tenants and the management office.

Responsibilities

• Mount and adjust kitchen cabinets, countertops, and other interior details
• Replace and install mixers, shower systems, and other plumbing components within qualifications
• Perform minor carpentry and assembly work as well as simple repairs
• Troubleshoot and resolve practical issues and suggest appropriate solutions
• Perform minor electrical work within applicable qualifications and safety procedures
• Communicate clearly and in a service-oriented manner with residents and clients
• Document completed work digitally and report needs for larger interventions

Qualifications and experience

• Practical experience in service work and problem-solving — experience in a similar role is an asset but not a requirement
• Basic knowledge in carpentry, plumbing, or similar technical work is an asset
• Good communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Ability to work independently, in a structured manner, and take personal responsibility
• Positive attitude and high work ethic
• Class B driver's license is a requirement
