About the Position

This is a direct recruitment role, meaning the recruitment process is handled by Bravura and you will be employed directly by AB Byggbeslag Lås & Säkerhet.

Byggbeslag is a well-established company with roots dating back to 1957 and a strong position in the construction and real estate sectors. The group has a turnover of approximately 800 MSEK, employs around 300 people, and is represented in 16 locations across Sweden. The business is owned by the privately held investment company O.F. Ahlmark & Co Eftr AB.

Byggbeslag is organized into two business areas: Supply of materials to the construction and real estate industry, and Locks & Security. Within the Locks & Security division, the company provides functional solutions related to door environments, locks, fittings, access control systems, alarms, and CCTV – often as an integrated part of larger construction projects.

💼 Responsibilities

In the role of Outside Sales Representative, you will work within the Locks & Security business area and be responsible for sales to construction and contracting projects. You will work closely with construction contractors and their organizations, such as purchasers, construction engineers, site managers, and foremen.

The work largely consists of building relationships with both existing and new customers, following projects over time, and driving business from the early stages to completion. Sales include installation projects where Byggbeslag is responsible for design, delivery, and installation. Sales cycles are often long and require structure, business acumen, and perseverance.

You will handle quotations and contracts in close collaboration with designers and production teams, and participate in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning. The role involves regular customer visits, and you will have access to a company car. A significant portion of your time will be spent on-site with customers to understand their needs and present tailored solutions.

Examples of responsibilities include:

  • Customer visits and proactive engagement with new and existing clients

  • Identifying business opportunities and following construction and contracting projects over time

  • Building and developing long-term customer relationships

  • Quotation, tender, and contract work

  • Technical advisory services regarding lock and security solutions

  • Collaboration with designers, technicians, and production teams

🔍 Education, Experience, and Personal Qualities

  • Technical understanding and interest

  • Experience in construction contracting or the security industry is an asset

  • Good computer skills and administrative abilities

  • Sales experience is highly desirable

  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

  • Valid driver's license (Class B)
