ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Production Manager, your main tasks will be the development of personnel and operations. Driving the team forward while striving for continuous development and improvement.

You will work closely with your team, planning, leading, and following up within your area of responsibility.

You will also work closely with our other production managers, be part of the production management group, and report to the Production Director. At our company, we believe in an open climate, good collaboration, and we are happy to share information and ideas!

You will have full personnel responsibility and will conduct development and salary discussions with your employees. You will have team leaders in your team to help you manage daily operations so that you can participate in the strategic work of production management.

You need the ability to be strategic in an operational environment and have the drive to complete what you start. Our operations change daily, so you need to be interested in change and willing to experiment and be creative. Last but not least, we want you to have the courage to speak your mind, be driven to inspire people, and enjoy having fun at work.

In the role of Production Manager in material manufacturing in Kalmar, it is a natural part of your daily routine to actively coach employees and work teams to develop as individuals and teams. With a constant focus on safety, you will be responsible for leading and distributing work in one of our production sections and have personnel responsibility for approximately 20 employees.

This includes, among other things, conducting development, salary, and rehabilitation discussions, as well as ensuring that the right competence exists for the operations to function and develop. In this role, you will also focus on improvement work (LEAN) and ensure that laws, agreements, and local routines are followed. You will play an important role in our continued work with Manufacturing Excellence (Trelleborg's LEAN program) and the development of our production.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with experience as a manager, preferably within the industry. You should be accustomed to coaching employees and have experience of Lean Production both in theory and in practice.

You must have good command of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, and should have good knowledge of MS Office.

As a person, you are structured with the ability to plan and manage your own work, you are communicative and used to prioritizing. You are a good team player, social, and want to develop and be developed. Positive and flexible are other qualities we value highly.
