Job Description

As a Senior Robot Programmer, you will play a key role in developing advanced automation solutions for industrial facilities. You are responsible for creating efficient, safe, and reliable robot applications that meet customer needs. The role is technically challenging and varied, with tasks spanning the entire project lifecycle.

Your main areas of responsibility:

• System engineering and programming of robot applications for various industrial processes
• Integration with PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems to ensure a complete automation solution
• Commissioning and optimization of robot cells and associated control systems
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving for technical challenges, both in the project phase and customer support
• Ensuring that solutions meet high requirements for functionality, quality, and safety

Examples of tasks during a typical week:

• Participate in tendering work by developing technical solutions and calculations for customer facilities
• Work in project teams at the office on design, programming, and testing of robot applications
• Perform troubleshooting at the customer site to quickly address operational issues and minimize production downtime
• Be seconded to the customer to strengthen their organization and contribute your expertise

The role offers the freedom to develop based on your interests. You can become a broad competence resource supporting colleagues and customers, or choose to specialize in a narrower area and become an expert in, for example, advanced robotics, vision systems, or safety solutions.

Qualifications

Collaboration is crucial – you work closely with colleagues, suppliers, and subcontractors to achieve common goals. Communication is equally important; you express yourself clearly and simply, share relevant information, and actively seek it when needed. You need high stress tolerance, meaning you think logically and radiate calm and security even in pressured situations. Finally, you are proactive and ambitious – you take initiative and step into the role of lead programmer when required.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in programming robot applications
• Documented experience in simulation, programming, and commissioning of robots from manufacturers ABB, KUKA, Yaskawa, or Fanuc
• Relevant technical education in automation, mechatronics, or equivalent
• Knowledge in simulation, programming, and commissioning of robots
• Swedish, both spoken and written
• Class B driver's license

Merits

• Experience in programming within PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems
• Knowledge of PLC and SCADA systems such as ABB, Siemens, Allen Bradley, Intouch, Citect, Ignition
• Specialization in robotics or industrial automation
• English, both spoken and written
