About the Department
The department for Geriatrics, Neurology, and Rehabilitation (GNR) is part of the Southern Primary Care Area. GNR has two hospital wards: one focused on rehabilitation (26A) and one for stroke/neurology (26B). The department also includes outpatient clinics for Neurology, Stroke, Geriatrics, and Osteoporosis. GNR is well-staffed with 20 specialists and 7 resident physicians (ST-läkare) in internal medicine, neurology, geriatrics, and rehabilitation medicine. We are now seeking a resident physician (underläkare) for GNR in Sundsvall.

As a resident physician at GNR, you will primarily work with wards 26A and 26B. The medical unit is implementing a working method where resident physicians can also staff our outpatient clinics under supervision. This position offers a great opportunity for those who wish to grow and develop in their medical role. This is a fixed-term full-time position with a start date in August 2026 or by agreement, for a period of 6 months, with the possibility of extension.

Responsibilities
As a resident physician with us, your duties will include:

• Working on the ward under supervision
• Outpatient clinic work with supervisory support

Qualifications
We are looking for someone who:

• Has completed at least the 10th term of medical school
• Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

It is an advantage if you:

• Are a licensed physician
• Have work experience in ward work within rehabilitation, geriatrics, or neurology
• Have experience working in the Cosmic medical records system
