Arnäs Home Care is now looking for six new colleagues to join our wonderful team! We are based at the city-adjacent Sörbyvägen 2 but have the privilege of working along beautiful coastal areas. We are proud of our work and strive for open communication within our work group.

Job Responsibilities
As a colleague, your main task is to provide support, motivation, and care to our users. We work in a health-promoting manner with the aim of strengthening the individual's own abilities and ensuring that everyone who receives support from us feels secure enough to remain in their own home.

Participation, development, and community are key words for us, where continuous improvements create the conditions for high quality. We work with welfare technology with the aim of increasing security, participation, and independence for our users.

Job responsibilities include, among other things, personal care, support with household chores in users' homes, handling medication and wound dressings, documentation, contact person duties, as well as social and physical activities together with our users. We work in a team-based manner, meaning that many different professional groups share the common goal of creating a good quality of life for our users.

You will currently be placed at Arnäs Home Care. We also collaborate with neighboring areas.

We offer you a meaningful job where you have the opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge in palliative care, dementia, daily rehabilitation approaches, and transfer techniques.

Qualifications
We are looking for you who are a nursing assistant or have other education or experience that the employer deems sufficient. We prefer that you have further education in elderly care and/or dementia or have an educational focus on psychiatry. Experience working in health and social care is an asset.

It is important that you enjoy and thrive working with people and that you are flexible and receptive to new ideas and ways of working.

The job requires sufficient knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing to, among other things, communicate with users, perform care documentation, and obtain medication delegation.

A valid driver's license, class B entitlement, and access to your own car are required.

Approximately 2,500 employees work in the Welfare Administration. In connection with the interview, we will conduct an identity check and verify citizenship. Approved documents are a passport, international ID card, driver's license + personal certificate from the Swedish Tax Agency, or another ID document that verifies citizenship. For some positions, presentation of an extract from the police suspicion and criminal record register is required. We welcome language skills in Finnish and/or one of the Sami varieties as Örnsköldsvik municipality is part of both the Finnish and Sami administrative areas.

In our municipality, a number of positions are classified in a security class, so security clearance may be required. These positions require Swedish citizenship.
