The county operations consist of both inpatient care, outpatient services, day care, play therapy, and SSIH Children. In our departments, all children and adolescents under 18 years of age who need inpatient care are treated; we have a total of 32 beds divided among 3 departments. Our clinics receive children and adolescents up to 18 years old with medical conditions. We conduct approximately 14,000 doctor visits and 6,500 nurse visits per year in the county operations. We offer a training position as a resident physician in pediatric and adolescent medicine located in Örnsköldsvik. The position includes rotations in Sundsvall and Umeå. You will receive a structured introduction and an individually tailored training plan.

Training Environment

As a resident physician, you will participate in continuous professional development through both internal and external training, including an internal training program and regular simulation exercises in multiprofessional teams.

The Operations

The pediatric and adolescent medicine unit in Örnsköldsvik consists of 5 resident physicians, 1 specialist physician, and 3 senior physicians. The unit also includes pediatric nurses, medical secretaries, and a unit manager. The operations are characterized by close collaboration and a good team spirit.

Employment Type

The position is a permanent full-time employment with a start date according to agreement.
