The forensic psychiatric regional clinic is today one of the country's largest clinics for the care of patients under the Forensic Psychiatric Care Act (LRV). We also have a mandate to care for particularly demanding patients under the Compulsory Psychiatric Care Act (LPT). The clinic is facing an expansion where the number of departments has increased to 10 and the number of beds to 135.

Caregiver for the Forensic Psychiatric Regional Clinic, Dept. 94, Sundsvall Job Responsibilities

As a caregiver at the Forensic Psychiatric Regional Clinic (RPK), you are part of a multidisciplinary team that takes care of the patient's daily needs for forensic psychiatric care. Job responsibilities may include:

• Planning, implementing, and following up on care and nursing interventions
• Accompanying patients during outdoor activities
• Social activation
• Supporting patients in daily activities

You will also work with the department's ongoing operations and as part of a health-promoting context. This may include:

• Cleaning
• Running errands
• Preparing meals
• Other practical work done together with colleagues.

We are looking for someone who

• Is a trained caregiver or has other education or work experience that the employer assesses as relevant for the position
• Has good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing

It is a merit if you

• Have a B driver's license
• Have experience working in forensic psychiatry or corrections
