Number of positions: 1
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan, organize, and conduct activities for residents, both individually and in groups.
- Create weekly schedules, design posters, and inform about upcoming activities.
- Carry out recurring activities such as reading aloud, walks, bingo, movie screenings, crafts, holiday celebrations, and cultural events such as the Nobel Dinner.
- Collaborate with volunteers, associations, and cultural practitioners, and serve as the contact person for external partners such as NBV, Lions, advisory boards, and others.
QUALIFICATIONS
Formal requirements:
- Upper secondary education, preferably in healthcare and social services, pedagogy, leisure activities, or similar.
- Experience in activity work, elderly care, or working with people in need of support.
- Ability to plan, execute, and follow up on activities.
- Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
Merits:
- Education or experience in culture, music, crafts, or wellness.
- Experience in collaborating with non-profit organizations and volunteers.
- Experience in project management or event planning.
- A driver's license may be an advantage.
Personal attributes:
- Creative and proactive with the ability to create varied and stimulating activities.
- Social and communicative, with the ability to build relationships with residents, relatives, volunteers, and staff.
- Structured and responsible, with the ability to plan long-term and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Attentive, empathetic, and respectful of the needs and wishes of the elderly.
- Flexible and solution-oriented when plans need to be adjusted.
Employment type: Permanent.
Duration: Permanent.
