Job Responsibilities
Your primary task as an employee is to provide support, motivation, and care to our clients. We work in a health-promoting manner with the aim of strengthening the individual's own abilities and ensuring that everyone receiving our support feels safe to remain in their own home.

Participation, development, and community are key words for us, where continuous improvements create the conditions for high quality. We utilize welfare technology to increase safety, participation, and independence for our clients.

Job duties include, among other things, personal care, assistance with household chores in clients' homes, medication management and wound care, documentation, contact person duties, and social and physical activities together with our clients. We work in a team-based model, meaning many different professional groups share the common goal of creating a good quality of life for our clients.

You will currently be placed at Gullänget Home Care, but work with other home care groups may also occur.

We offer you a meaningful job where you have the opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge in palliative care, dementia, daily rehabilitation approaches, and transfer techniques.

The positions are:

• Two temporary positions (100%) until 2027-08-31. Earliest start date: 2026-04-13.
• One temporary position (100%) until 2027-08-31. Earliest start date: 2026-06-01.

Qualifications
We are looking for you who are a licensed practical nurse (Undersköterska) or have other education or experience that the employer deems sufficient. We prefer candidates with further education in elderly care and/or dementia, or a specialization in psychiatry. Experience working in healthcare and social services is an asset.

It is important that you enjoy working with people, are flexible, and open to new ideas and ways of working.

Sufficient knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, is required to communicate with clients, perform care documentation, and obtain medication delegation.

A valid driver's license (Category B) and access to your own car are mandatory requirements.

During the interview process, we will conduct an identity check and verify citizenship. Accepted documents include a passport, international ID card, driver's license + personal certificate from the Swedish Tax Agency, or other ID documents verifying citizenship. For some positions, a certificate from the Police Register (criminal record check) is required. We welcome language skills in Finnish and/or one of the Sámi varieties, as Örnsköldsvik Municipality is part of both Finnish and Sámi administrative areas.

Several positions in our municipality are classified under security clearance, so a security check may be required. These positions require Swedish citizenship.
