We are looking for someone who wants to take responsibility in an operation where your contribution makes a difference every day, and where it is immediately noticeable if something is not working.

As an electrician in Water and Wastewater Operations (VA-Drift), you work closely with the operations and help ensure that our facilities function as they should. This is a role for you who enjoy taking responsibility, solving problems, and working practically in a technical environment where operational reliability is crucial.

You will become part of a team with high competence and great commitment, where we together ensure a stable and long-term function in the municipality's water and wastewater facilities.

The role entails significant personal responsibility in daily work, where you need to be able to prioritize between urgent interventions and planned maintenance.

Tasks

As an electrician with us, you have a central role in ensuring the operation of our facilities.

You will work with, among other things:

• troubleshooting and repairing electrical equipment (switchgear, pumps, inverters, etc.)
• planning and carrying out preventive maintenance
• participating in projects as a technical resource within electricity, including requirement setting, review, and inspection
• installing and commissioning new equipment
• collaborating with contractors, suppliers, and internal functions
• developing working methods, standards, and routines within the electrical field

The work is varied and takes place both independently and together with colleagues.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have:

• secondary education in electrical engineering
• at least 3–5 years of experience as an electrician, preferably in operations, industry, or facilities
• experience working with PLC, control systems, and frequency inverters
• experience in troubleshooting and working with electrical equipment
• good knowledge of electrical safety and applicable regulations
• ability to read and understand electrical drawings
• Class B driver's license
• good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing

It is an advantage if you have:

• experience with water and wastewater facilities or other process or industrial operations
• experience working with high-voltage facilities
• knowledge of backup power and UPS
