About the Assignment

In the role of Production Planner, you will work to ensure that the business can deliver products according to agreed lead times, with the right quality and in a cost-effective manner. You play a central role in planning and controlling production based on customer needs, material availability, and capacity, while acting as a vital link between production, customer service, and procurement.

The assignment is operationally close and characterized by many points of contact, where you daily handle both planned activities and quick reprioritizations based on changing conditions.

Responsibilities

In the role of Production Planner, duties include:

• Create and follow up on daily and weekly manufacturing plans
• Ensure material supply to production in time
• Communicate delivery notices and delivery status to internal stakeholders
• Coordinate and prioritize production based on customer orders, capacity, and material availability
• Maintain ongoing dialogue with procurement regarding material needs and potential shortages
• Follow up on production performance related to delivery capability and key figures
• Initiate and participate in improvement and efficiency work within planning and logistics
• Handle changes such as lead time adjustments, production stops, and capacity changes

The role also involves contributing with analyses and decision support, as well as acting as an advisor to production regarding planning and prioritization issues.

Who We Are Looking For

For this assignment, we are looking for someone with experience in production planning or similar functions within a manufacturing operation. You are analytical, structured, and confident in making decisions in an environment where conditions can change rapidly.

You find it easy to collaborate with different functions and thrive in a role where communication, problem-solving, and a holistic perspective are crucial for success. As a person, you are responsible, solution-oriented, and have a proactive working style.

Qualifications and Experience

We expect you to have:

• At least 1-2 years of experience in production planning, logistics, or a similar field
• Experience working with ERP systems
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing
• Basic understanding of production flows and material control

Education

• High school education with a technical or economic focus
• Post-secondary education in industrial economics, logistics, or equivalent is an asset
