The Service Administration, which includes Operations & Real Estate, is Falu Municipality's provider of internal service and ancillary services according to an FM concept. The mission is to support the municipality's various activities by providing clean, functional, and purposeful premises, tasty and nutritious meals, vehicles, transport services, and other ancillary services. The assignment also includes contributing to the administrations' efficiency efforts by offering efficient services at competitive prices.

Job Responsibilities

In the role of Technician, you are primarily responsible for the operation, maintenance, and care of the municipality's all properties. Cases include everything from fans, heat pumps, and ventilation problems to meter readings, as well as the business's fault reports and orders. The goal is thus to facilitate for customers through broad technical competence by resolving their problems. The role involves a high degree of service, and the focus is on delivering good solutions. Case management is handled via a case management system, and other ancillary tasks may include material procurement, time reporting, and invoicing. In this position, you will have the opportunity to utilize your experience and knowledge in a broad and varied role.

Qualifications

Requirements for the role:

• Several years of work experience as an operations/real estate technician or broad experience in electrical, plumbing, ventilation, and construction deemed relevant by the employer.
• Good digital skills.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
• Class B driver's license.

Furthermore, we prefer that you are independent and responsible regarding planning your day and driving your tasks forward. As a person, you are also proactive, solution-oriented, and practical to best meet customer needs. The role enables varied tasks, meaning you should ideally be solution-oriented and creative.

Meritorious Qualifications

• Previous knowledge and experience of electrical work and various control systems in buildings.
• Post-secondary vocational education.
• Electrical authorization (B Limited authorization).

Employment Terms

Permanent full-time employment. Start date according to agreement. As an employed technician, you may become part of the on-call organization.
