Tivedens Mat – "The Pub in the Forest"

We are looking for you with extensive experience from à la carte restaurants. Have you worked as a head waiter, sommelier, or served for many years? Perhaps you are currently working the winter season or studying and need a summer job for the summer of 2026?

Tivedens Mat is not located in Örebro, but about 1 hour south at the northwestern side of Lake Vättern in the beautiful Tiveden, featuring a national park and lots of tourism. Since it is too far to commute daily, you must either have your own accommodation nearby, or we offer simple accommodation at the restaurant during our opening hours.

Tivedens Mat is celebrating its 21st summer and is a popular venue with a classic French-Swedish menu, cooked from scratch, and all wines served by the glass.

We are open from May to September. Check the website for current opening hours. You need to be available to work most days we are open.

This advertisement is exclusively for you with more than 5–10 years of experience in the serving profession. Please include references. A car and driver's license are required, though carpooling/shuttle from Laxå train station can sometimes be arranged.

With your own car, you will have access to explore a beautiful forest area with lakes and many hiking trails. Small picturesque towns are within 30–60 minutes, and since we are only open in the evenings, there is plenty of time for experiences.
