Tivedens Mat – also known as "the pub in the middle of the forest"

We are not located in Örebro, but about 1 hour by car at the northwestern end of Lake Vättern in the Tiveden National Park area. The nearest train station is Laxå.

The restaurant is celebrating its 21st summer and is looking for someone to work in service between May and September.

The venue is beautifully situated in Tiveden at Källarmästarens gård (The Cellar Master's Farm) and is listed in the White Guide. We cook from scratch and are well-established, welcoming many returning guests and tourists from a wide area.

We are open in the evenings and operate as an à la carte restaurant with all wines served by the glass. The pace is often high, and the work is varied and fun, offering opportunities to learn a lot or develop your restaurant skills and sales techniques in a fast-paced, cheerful team.

You can learn the service profession on the job, but experience with cash registers or food and beverages is important. Naturally, you must enjoy taking care of guests and have an interest in food and drink. If you have professional experience, please include references.

If you do not have your own accommodation nearby, simple lodging is available on-site for the days you work.

If you do not have a car, which is necessary as local public transport is non-existent, you can take the train to Laxå and carpool with others from there.
