Fyren EkAlmen is a well-established F-6 school in Örebro municipality, with a family-like atmosphere, as we value and work for safety and well-being – both for students and staff. The school is beautifully located near Hjälmaren and nature areas in Ekeby-Almby east of Örebro.

For the autumn term of 2026, we are looking for a chef who wants to become one of the staff members in "Byssan" - our production kitchen. Together with two other chefs, you will be responsible for cooking, special diets, dishwashing, cleaning, etc. You need to have a relevant education for the position and experience is an advantage.

The position is permanent with a start date in August 2026. The working hours are 80% daytime, Monday to Friday.

Every day, approximately 350 portions are served for lunch, and thereafter snacks are prepared for the after-school program.
