About the Client Company

Kitron Eltech, formerly DeltaNordic (HQ) in Örnsköldsvik, was founded in 1981 and is a total system supplier of electrical and electronic systems. The production of printed circuit board assemblies (PCBA) and electronic units is concentrated at Kitron Eltech in Örnsköldsvik and is carried out in ESD-protected facilities. Educated and experienced staff, combined with modern processing equipment, guarantee high quality in the production process. The headquarters is located in Övik. Kitron Eltech also has units in Kungsängen and Nanjing (China).

Your Responsibilities

In the role of Operational Purchaser, you will work closely with the operations to ensure that daily purchasing activities run smoothly. You play a vital role in ensuring that materials and components are available on time, while keeping track of costs, deliveries, and any deviations. The work also involves using ERP systems, preferably Monitor, as well as various planning and follow-up tools to create structure and overview in the purchasing process. You will have regular contact with both suppliers and internal colleagues, contributing to uninterrupted production. The pace varies, and you need to be able to prioritize, make well-considered decisions, and find practical solutions when conditions change rapidly.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with post-secondary education in purchasing, logistics, economics, engineering, or equivalent experience. You have experience in operational purchasing, preferably from the manufacturing industry, and it is an asset if you have worked with supplier contacts and negotiations. You are proficient in the Office package and have experience with MPS or ERP systems, preferably Monitor, as well as planning or follow-up tools. To succeed in this role, you need good knowledge of both Swedish and English, spoken and written. As a person, you are structured and meticulous, stress-resistant, and solution-oriented without compromising on quality and safety. You find it easy to collaborate and communicate, while being business-minded, responsible, and thriving in a role where you can combine order, analysis, and relationships.

Additional Information

You will be employed by Konsultia, and the assignment spans six months, with very good possibilities for extension or a future permanent position directly with Kitron Eltech. We are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible.
