Jefferson Wells is currently seeking an Operational Purchaser for a consulting assignment within the manufacturing industry in Örnsköldsvik. About the Assignment

In the role of Operational Purchaser, you will be a key part of the purchasing function, responsible for daily operational purchasing activities. You will work closely with production, planning, and suppliers to ensure that materials and components are available at the right time, in the right quantity, and at the right cost.

The role is operational, fast-paced, and requires good structure, collaboration skills, and a solution-oriented approach. You will work regularly in business systems and contribute to a well-functioning material flow within the organization.

Examples of Responsibilities:

• Operational purchasing activities related to production and operations
• Placing and following up on purchase orders and monitoring deliveries
• Ongoing supplier contacts and dialogue regarding deliveries and purchasing issues
• Follow-up on purchases, deviations, and delivery accuracy
• Collaboration with internal functions such as production, planning, and finance

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone with experience in operational purchasing who thrives in a role with many points of contact. You are meticulous, responsible, and accustomed to handling multiple parallel tasks in an industrial environment. You work in a solution-oriented manner even under pressure and do not compromise on quality or safety.

You communicate clearly, enjoy collaborating with others, and have a business-oriented approach in your work.

To qualify for the assignment, you need:

• Post-secondary education in purchasing, logistics, finance, engineering, or equivalent work experience
• Experience in operational purchasing, preferably within the manufacturing industry
• Good computer skills and experience with the Office suite
• Experience with MPS/business systems, preferably Monitor
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both written and spoken

It is an advantage if you:

• Have experience with supplier contacts and negotiation
• Have worked with planning or follow-up tools
• Enjoy a production-focused and operational role
