Rödebyskolan is a school for grades F-9, divided into two units: F-6 and 7-9. In grades 7-9, approximately 30 staff members work. The school is centrally located in the village with proximity to nature, swimming, and a sports hall. We offer the opportunities of a large school combined with the security and care of a small school.

Job Responsibilities

As a special educator/special teacher, you are responsible for developing and ensuring an accessible and inclusive learning environment. You will work at both a strategic level and with targeted interventions at the group and individual levels. The assignment includes:

• Contributing to strengthening the school's preventive and promoting student health work.
• Developing support measures and adaptations for classes and students.
• Being responsible for pedagogical investigations, absence investigations, and action plans, among other things.
• Maintaining contact with guardians.
• Being flexible and able to make interventions in our special teaching groups.
• Working with students in need of support individually, in small groups, or providing support in regular classrooms.
• Coaching teachers through coaching conversations and observations.
• Being part of the development of the school's systematic quality work.

Qualifications

You must be a licensed teacher for grades 7-9 with further education as a special educator or special teacher.

We are looking for someone who is good at creating and strengthening collaborations internally and externally, as well as building new relationships and nurturing existing ones.

You are a problem solver with the ability to analyze situations, identify solutions, and develop effective, actionable strategies to overcome challenges.
