Are you a skilled automotive body technician looking to work in a modern, well-equipped workshop in Upplands Väsby?

Your responsibilities will include:

As an automotive body technician at Werksta Upplands Väsby, you will join an engaged team where quality, precision, and efficient workflow are central. You will perform body repairs and sheet metal work on passenger cars according to manufacturer and insurance company guidelines. The role may also involve mechanical tasks such as disassembly, assembly, and basic mechanical adjustments. You will collaborate closely with damage estimators, painters, and other workshop staff to ensure fast and correct repairs as well as high customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Repair and replace body parts, including straightening sheet metal and frames.

  • Perform welding, gluing, and riveting in accordance with current requirements and safety regulations.

  • Assemble and disassemble vehicle components during repairs; basic mechanical work may be required.

  • Utilize modern measuring and repair tools and document completed work in the workshop system.

  • Collaborate with damage estimators, painters, and colleagues to ensure an efficient workflow and high quality.

  • Ensure that all repairs meet the workshop's high standards for quality and safety.

  • Contribute to an orderly, safe, and service-oriented work environment in the workshop.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with vehicle training or several years of experience in body and sheet metal work. You are meticulous, quality-conscious, and technically interested. Experience in the damage repair industry or working with premium vehicles is an asset. Since the role may include mechanical tasks, experience with assembly/disassembly and basic mechanics is also an advantage.

  • Documented experience in body and sheet metal work or equivalent practical experience.

  • Class B driver's license is required.

  • Experience with welding and the use of measuring equipment is an asset.

  • Structured, responsible, and a good team player.

  • Solution-oriented, flexible, and curious about new technology and working methods.
