What does the role of a circuit board assembler entail? After four weeks of basic training, you will step into the role of a circuit board assembler at Saab Surveillance in Järfälla, where you will receive guidance and further develop your skills in circuit board production. The work is scheduled during daytime hours.

As a circuit board assembler, you will be part of a dynamic team working with surface mounting, rework, and inspection of circuit boards. Your main tasks will include:

• Manual assembly of electrical components and some mechanics based on applicable documentation

• Repairing and modifying circuit boards and circuit board units

• Inspecting and checking circuit boards and circuit board units

• Participating in the development of manufacturing documentation

You and your team will also be involved in the process of developing new products by providing your perspectives on assembly to colleagues working with design, quality, and production technology.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the current regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has security classification requirements, citizenship requirements may apply.
