About the Position

This is a full-time consultancy assignment lasting 4 months. You will be employed by Bravura and work as a consultant for KOF Nord. There are opportunities to extend the assignment.

💼 Responsibilities

In the role of Transport Manager, you work with route planning, which means you load vehicles and plan the order in which temperature-controlled goods should be picked up or delivered to various customers to achieve maximum efficiency. As a Transport Manager, you receive orders from customers, distribute driving instructions to drivers, and are operationally responsible for planning and monitoring that the transports your customers have purchased run smoothly. In the event of traffic disruptions, you as the Transport Manager redirect traffic, call in replacement vehicles, etc. The role includes administrative work such as pricing, invoice handling, and other related administrative tasks.

Today, Transport Managers are located in Årsta, Sundsvall, Östersund, Umeå, and Luleå, where those in Sundsvall have extra responsibility for all long-distance traffic. In Sundsvall, a total of 14 office employees work at the office, of which 7 colleagues work with traffic planning and sit together in their daily work.

Working hours are 07:00–16:00, and weekend work (Sundays) occurs every 4th week.

Your main responsibilities are as follows:

  • Plan long-distance transports between customers' main terminals and stores

  • Daily contact with hauliers and customers

  • Ensure delivery of goods

  • Pricing, invoice handling, and administration in various systems

🔍 Education, Experience, and Personal Qualities

  • Completed upper secondary education

  • Fluent communication in Swedish, both spoken and written

  • Good computer and system skills

  • Experience from the logistics industry is an asset

  • Basic leadership training or experience in team leadership is an asset

To work as a Transport Manager, it is important that you can maintain your calm even in stressful situations, have integrity, and an ethical approach. You will have daily contact with external stakeholders and are not afraid to take the first step in a conversation. Furthermore, you have good communication skills and are skilled with digital tools and systems.

You are a person who takes great ownership of your tasks, ensures the execution is good, takes a lot of personal responsibility, and independently drives your work forward. Although you will work independently, you have a close relationship with your colleagues. Therefore, it is important that you enjoy collaborating; you rarely feel competition but are rather the one who steps up and supports your colleagues when needed.
