Service Technician – Exciting Opportunity in Malmö

We are looking for a service technician for a well-established company in the technology and service industry that works with advanced equipment for customers throughout Sweden. About the Position

As a service technician, you will have an independent and varied role with close customer contact. You will be responsible for installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of technical equipment at customer sites. The work includes both planned service interventions and urgent actions during operational disturbances.

You will document completed work in digital systems, manage spare parts, and provide customers with advice on the use and maintenance of the equipment. The role is field-based with the opportunity to plan your workday via a work order system and work from the office or home as needed.

We are looking for someone who

To thrive and succeed in this role, we prefer that you have experience from technical work, preferably within service, mechanics, or similar professions. Previous work with machines, appliances, or other mechanical equipment is an advantage but not a requirement.

Furthermore, we would like you to have:

• Basic technical understanding and problem-solving skills
• Driver's license
• Swedish language skills in both spoken and written form
• Electrical knowledge (low voltage or high voltage) is an advantage but not mandatory
• Flexibility, self-driven work style, and attention to detail
• Good collaboration skills and a service-oriented mindset
• Interest in technology and machinery, as well as a willingness to learn new systems and equipment

The role involves continuous customer contact, but on-call duty or standby is not included. Upselling may occur in the form of needs identification but is not a primary focus.
