We are currently seeking a repair technician focused on pumps for our Technical Service department at Nordic Sugar in Örtofta. Here, we work together to ensure that our production facilities operate efficiently, safely, and sustainably. Throughout our process, from wastewater management to finished sugar, pumps are crucial and appear in every part of production. The role also involves responsibility for our sealing water systems. You will cover a large area with many different types of pumps, making the work both varied and technically broad. Tasks are often performed independently, so it is important that you enjoy working alone and can take your own initiatives. At the same time, we offer a solid introduction and on-site training, so you feel secure in both the role and our processes.

The work environment is varied and involves working in different types of environments, from tight spaces to high altitudes. The work consists of both planned interventions and urgent problem-solving, sometimes in close collaboration with colleagues from other parts of the organization. During the beet campaign, which runs from September to January, the work is more intensive with a lot of activity out in the facility, especially around maintenance and sealing water. The maintenance period involves day work with flexibility, but on-call duty and weekend work may occur periodically. During the campaign period, shifts are worked. The position is a permanent employment and reports to the head of Technical Service.

Main responsibilities:

· Perform general repairs, such as renovation and service and replacement of pumps

· Work on preparing quotes, maintain contact with pump suppliers

· Assist with other repair efforts as needed

· Suggest and implement improvement measures

· Participate in development and change projects

· Together with the team, be responsible for maintenance and improvements of process equipment

Your background

· High school education with a practical focus, for example in construction, electrical, or technical fields

· Experience as a repair technician in heavy industry, preferably with fieldwork, service vehicles, heavy lifting, or larger machinery

· We consider it an advantage if you have worked with pumps

· A practical approach and curiosity – you enjoy understanding how things work and are not afraid to find out

· Good computer skills

· Advantageous if you have experience with SAP
