We are looking for a leisure teacher

We are looking for a leisure teacher who wants to take clear responsibility for our leisure center activities. Here you will have the opportunity to help shape, drive, and develop the leisure center together with engaged colleagues – while also being part of the school's management team.

Munktorpsskolan is a school where we work together and contribute knowledge and experience to develop the operations into a place where both students and staff feel they can succeed. We are a small, cozy school with a single parallel class, close to nature and outdoor life, 10 km from Köping. Munktorp is a rural community where most people live in villas or on farms. Approximately 175 students attend the school from preschool to grade 6 in age-homogeneous groups. We have two leisure centers and open activities for students in grades 4–6.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As the head of the leisure center, you will lead the development and planning of the operations. You will guide colleagues in the pedagogical work, coordinate activities, and ensure that the operations maintain high quality in line with governing documents and the school's goals. You will also be part of the school's management team and contribute to the overall development of the school.

The position also includes work during school hours in preschool to grade 6, where you will support both students and teachers in teaching. After school hours, you will be responsible for and work in the leisure center's activities.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• is a licensed leisure teacher
• has clear pedagogical leadership and good collaboration skills
• wants to take responsibility for development work
• is structured, solution-oriented, flexible, and sees opportunities

Previous experience in leading development work is an advantage.

It is essential that a criminal record extract can be presented before employment.
