Your responsibilities

You will teach our students in the four-year program of the adapted upper secondary school. This includes both the individual program and the national program. You will collaborate closely with your colleagues at the adapted upper secondary school as well as other colleagues who teach physical education and health. We want you to teach with clarity, warmth, and a positive view of students. You will guide your students towards the best possible development in physical education and health, and create a safe and stimulating learning environment for all students.

Working as a teacher

Working as a teacher is about constantly developing based on the students we meet and capturing their interests to create good and challenging teaching. It is also about documenting students' learning to enable them to reach their goals.

Your qualifications

We are looking for a certified teacher with the qualifications to teach physical education and health. Experience working in an adapted school is a requirement. You need to have the ability to meet and lead students with varying degrees of intellectual disabilities. You have good skills in handling computers and tablets in your daily work and you have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. Experience working as a teacher in physical education and health is an advantage for this position.

You take great responsibility for your work, and we are looking for someone with clear leadership who can be a positive role model for our students. You have a flexible working style and with your creative and innovative ability, you contribute new ideas and methods that develop teaching. You also have strong collaboration skills and a pedagogical understanding that allows you to adapt your communication to both students and colleagues.

Additional information

Before you can be employed, you need to present an approved extract from the police criminal record.

During the interview, you need to prove your citizenship. You can do this with a passport or a personal certificate along with an ID document. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must show that you have a valid work permit or are exempt from the requirement to have a work permit.
