The mission of the Maintenance Department is to ensure the highest possible availability of the entire mill's production equipment. We are constantly working to improve personnel and operational safety while enhancing quality and cost-effectiveness in maintenance work.

You will belong to the Central Maintenance section, which is part of the Maintenance Department and serves the entire mill.

As a machinist, you will be part of the team at the mill's Central Workshop. Here, we work with manual machining in an older but well-functioning machine park, where craftsmanship and mechanical knowledge are important qualities.

The work includes, among other things:

  • Manufacturing mechanical components on manual lathes and mills, e.g., shafts, bushings, etc.
  • Repairing damaged bearing positions
  • Machining transmission couplings
  • Various mechanical repair and manufacturing tasks related to the mill's production equipment

The position is day shift.

Qualifications

  • Technical high school education or equivalent experience
  • Practical experience in manual machining on lathes and mills
  • Good knowledge of reading technical drawings
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to communicate, document, and report verbally and in writing

Experience working in a drilling machine is an advantage.

We work in an older, robust machine park where you can apply your practical experience and mechanical judgment. Therefore, we value both craftsmanship and the willingness to continuously develop within the profession.
