Your role

As an industrial electrician with us, you will play a central role in the daily work of keeping our facility operational and developing. You will work both independently and together with colleagues on various tasks such as:

• Preventive maintenance and participation in planned maintenance efforts for machines and electrical systems
• Automation, electrical assembly, and expansion
• Troubleshooting and repair of electrical and control equipment using PLC
• Programming of frequency converters and control equipment, as well as troubleshooting and replacement of electric motors
• Documentation of performed maintenance and technical measures

Your profile

To succeed in this role, we would like you to have:

• Electrical engineering education
• If you have experience troubleshooting using PLC programs and good knowledge of electrical materials and components, it is an advantage
• Preferably experience in PLC programming, especially within ABB or Siemens systems
• Computer skills and comfortable using Office programs
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Driving license B (availability for on-call duty is included in the role)

Nordic Paper is a Scandinavian specialty paper producer that has been manufacturing high-quality paper since the late 1800s. We have five paper mills located in Bäckhammar, Åmotfors, Säffle, Greåker (Norway), and Québec (Canada). The head office is located in Karlstad. About the employment

The position is full-time, permanent with a probationary period. Location: Säffle. Travel to our other facilities may occur. Start date according to agreement.
