JOB DESCRIPTION

We are now looking for two new colleagues for the Maintenance department at the Sawmill in Grums. We are looking for someone with a good safety mindset who enjoys challenges and wants to help develop maintenance work at the sawmill. There are about 30 employees in the maintenance department.

With us, safety is always in focus in our daily work, and our goal is to ensure the most reliable operation possible by working on continuous improvements that lead to increased quality and efficiency. The roles we are looking for are an electrician and a maintenance technician for our team in the Maintenance department.

Electrician

As an electrician, you will play a central role in ensuring the availability and operational reliability of the machinery. You will actively work on preventive measures to increase the availability of the entire facility and perform electrical repairs and installations. By following safety regulations and OHSE standards, you ensure that work is always carried out in a safe and responsible manner.

In this role, you will primarily perform preventive maintenance, other maintenance measures of automation equipment, and restore deficiencies that have been discovered to their original condition. You will also participate in troubleshooting and rectify faults within the automation responsibility area. Furthermore, you will work on monitoring, following up on routines, and instructions that contribute to reduced environmental impact. The role also involves documenting work in our CMMS system, conducting regular inspections, and reporting any deviations. You will work closely with colleagues and assist with monitoring subcontractors as needed.

As an electrician, working hours are primarily during the day, but shift work may occur as the position will serve as a shift reserve for shift electricians.

Maintenance Technician

As a maintenance technician, you will play a central role in ensuring the availability and operational reliability of the machinery. You will actively work to prevent and anticipate equipment wear and perform emergency repairs as needed. By following safety regulations and OHSE standards, you ensure that work is always carried out in a safe and responsible manner.

You will be responsible for performing lubrication, checking central lubrication, assembly of bearings, adjustments, and ensuring that machines and equipment are in the best possible condition. The role also involves documenting work in our CMMS system, conducting regular maintenance inspections, and reporting any deviations. You will work closely with colleagues and assist with monitoring subcontractors as needed.

The position as a maintenance technician involves shift work, with working hours scheduled for both morning and night according to a roster.

PERSONAL QUALITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a completed upper secondary education or a vocational education in electrical and energy, automation, industrial technology, or another equivalent education. We prefer that you have work experience from similar tasks. We believe that you, as an applicant, have a strong interest in the mechanical field and that you are development-oriented and responsible. To thrive in these roles, we also see that you are a service-oriented person with a good understanding of the importance of preventive maintenance and an interest in developing maintenance methods. Your attention to detail and ability to work independently will be beneficial as the role entails a certain level of responsibility from planning to execution. In this role, good knowledge of Swedish and English is required. Additionally, it is advantageous if you have the following:

• Hot work

• Mobile working platforms

• Forklift license

• Fall protection training
