Your role

We are looking for an engineer for a brand new position in maintenance – where you will play a key role in shaping and developing structured working methods for our fixed installations underground.

You will belong to the Loading and Rock Transport section in Malmberget. You will be part of a team responsible for the maintenance of fixed installations (chutes, crushers, conveyors, and rock lifts) underground.

You will work on leading the strategic development of maintenance in our fixed installations. You will become a central person in the work to increase operational reliability and availability. Your tasks will also include developing and coordinating maintenance stops involving numerous contractors and internal competencies, as well as managing overarching contractual issues.

What you bring with you

We are looking for someone who is responsible, analytical, and has a strong interest in technology. You enjoy collaborating with different types of people and can easily adapt to both independent and team-oriented work. You can plan strategically, are structured, take initiative, and have a natural drive to develop both yourself and the business.

• Civil or university degree in engineering, preferably in mechanical engineering or equivalent
• Several years of work experience as an engineer or technician
• Experience in maintenance
• Driver's license for manual transmission
• Fluent in Swedish and good knowledge of English, both spoken and written

Meritorious:

• Experience with data-driven maintenance systems and follow-ups
• Experience from process industry or similar operations
